In this description the \u201ctransmitter\u201d is the directional antenna where the receiver is assumed to be an omnidirectional antenna with adequate azimuthal beamwidth to efficiently capture the \u201ctransmitter\u201d. In another case where both the \u201ctransmitter\u201d and \u201creceiver\u201d antennas are directional, then the uptilt angle of the \u201creceiver\u201d antenna is simply 90 degrees minus the downtilt angle of the \u201ctransmitter\u201d antenna.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that all of the inputs into the Antenna Downtilt &amp; Coverage Calculator should be in the linear units either inches, feet, yards, miles, centimeters, meters, or kilometers.
